What the two options actually mean
A one-page website puts everything on a single scrolling page. Someone lands on it and scrolls through who you are, what you do, a few photos of past jobs, and how to get in touch. There is no menu to jump between pages. It reads top to bottom like a well-organised flyer.
A multi-page website splits that same information across separate pages. A typical setup has a home page, a services page or one page per service, an about page, a gallery of past work, and a contact page. Each page has its own web address and can be found on its own in Google.
Neither one is better by default. The right choice comes down to how much you offer, how customers find you, and how much you want to grow the site over time.
When a one-page website is the right call
A single page suits you if you offer one clear service, or a tight set of closely related ones, and most of your work comes from the same local area. An emergency plumber, a mobile mechanic, a solo electrician or a handyman often fits here. The customer already knows what they want. They just need to see that you are legitimate, local and easy to contact.
One page is also the fastest way to get online and the cheapest to run. There is less to build, less to keep updated, and nothing for a visitor to get lost in. On a phone, where a lot of trade enquiries start, a clean single page that ends in a call button often works better than a site with a menu people have to think about.
This is what our One Page website at $699 is built for. It gives a new or growing operator a professional, enquiry-focused presence without paying for pages they do not need yet.
When a multi-page website earns its place
Go multi-page when you offer several distinct services and want each one to stand on its own. A builder who does extensions, renovations and new builds, or a landscaper who does design, paving, retaining walls and maintenance, has a real reason to give each service its own page. It lets you explain each job properly instead of cramming everything into one scroll.
There is also a genuine search advantage. A separate page for each service, and sometimes each town you cover, gives Google more specific pages to match against what people are searching for. Someone typing retaining walls Mandurah is more likely to find a page written about retaining walls in Mandurah than a general home page that mentions a bit of everything.
If that describes your business, our Multi Page website at $1,099 gives you the room to lay it all out clearly. When you are ready to add regular content, booking tools or ongoing lead generation, the Growth Platform from $1,499 is the step up.
Questions to ask before you decide
Do you sell one service or several different ones? One or two closely related services point to a single page. Four or five distinct services point to multiple pages.
How do people find you today? If almost everyone comes from word of mouth, referrals or your van signage, a one-page site that confirms you are the real deal is often plenty. If you want Google to bring you strangers searching for specific jobs, extra pages give search engines more to work with.
How much do you plan to grow the site? If you expect to add services, service areas or a blog over the next year or two, starting with a structure that has room to expand saves you rebuilding later. If you just need a solid presence now, do not overbuild.
You are not locked into your first choice
Plenty of operators start with a one-page website, get comfortable, and move up to more pages once they know exactly which services bring in the best work. That is a sensible way to do it. You learn what your customers actually search for before you pay to build around it.
With ONARA Studios you own your website outright, with no lock-in contracts, so upgrading later is a straightforward step rather than starting from scratch. If you are not sure which option fits, tell us what you do and how you get most of your work, and we will give you an honest recommendation rather than pushing you towards the bigger package.
